The Dawn of a Battle: Surviving an Attack

In this painting I tried to recreate not only the intensity of the battle, but also my emotional state at that time. The dawn - symbolizing the beginning of the battle - is enhanced by the bright colors and light. Between the gray and the black of the smoke. I also tried to capture the brutality and chaos of the battle, by highlighting the powerful aircraft (MIG), the multiple and scattered explosions.
