The Tower of Jaffa: A Monument

The tower is a symbol of Jaffa and is a popular tourist attraction.

The clock tower in Jaffa was built by Moritz Sheinberg in 1903.  In honor of the 25th anniversary of the Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II's reign. The tower is built of limestone.

At the top of the tower is a copper cover, where there are two clocks and a bell that rings once every half hour.The square where it is located was named after the tower - the Clock Square, further down Yafet Street to the south.

Its height to the tip of the antenna: 27.8 meters; The length of the base of the tower and its width: 3.8 meters each
